Sentinel Protect™
The Protection Layer.
Sentinel Protect™ is the wildfire protection network of the Highline Sentinel platform. Protect™ is responsible for how a property is protected, where protection is deployed, and how coverage strategies are developed around architecture, exposure, and site conditions.
Every Protect™ design is tailored to the property rather than forcing the property to fit a predetermined system.
Request AssessmentDesigned Around The Property
Wildfire exposure is different on every property. Rooflines, eaves, decks, vegetation, terrain, wind exposure, access, structure materials, and available water all influence how protection should be deployed.
Sentinel Protect™ begins with the property itself, then develops a protection strategy around the actual exposure conditions rather than relying on a generic layout.
What Protect™ Addresses
Rooflines
Protection strategies for roof edges, transitions, and areas vulnerable to ember exposure.
Eaves
Deployment planning around eaves, soffits, fascia, and architectural details.
Decks & Outdoor Living
Coverage strategies for decks, patios, outdoor rooms, and vulnerable transition areas.
Structure Exposure
Protection planning for structure-adjacent exposure points and ignition-prone areas.
Vegetation Interface
Evaluation of surrounding fuels, slopes, wind exposure, and defensible space conditions.
Multiple Structures
Protection planning for homes, guest houses, barns, garages, support buildings, and estate compounds.
Protection Nodes
Protect™ uses property-specific protection nodes rather than generic sprinkler placement. Protection nodes are selected and located based on exposure, architecture, water delivery requirements, serviceability, and system objectives.
The goal is to place protection where it matters most while respecting the property’s architecture and the performance requirements of the larger Sentinel platform.
Targeted Placement
Nodes are placed around real exposure points, not arbitrary spacing.
Architecture Aware
Placement considers rooflines, materials, visibility, and design intent.
Platform Connected
Nodes work with Flow™, Command™, Reserve™, Power™, DryGuard™, and Forge™.
Deployment Areas
Rather than using irrigation-style “zones,” Sentinel organizes protection into deployment areas. Each deployment area is developed around structure exposure, hydraulic requirements, system performance, and property priorities.
This language reflects the Sentinel platform: protection is deployed intentionally based on risk, architecture, and operational needs.
Connected To The Sentinel Platform
Protect™ is the protection layer, but it does not operate alone. The full Sentinel platform supports the protection network through water delivery, reserve water, backup power, controls, readiness, and architectural integration.
Flow™
Hydraulic delivery, pressure, and pumping.
Reserve™
Water storage and reserve capacity.
Power™
Backup power and critical-load resilience.
Command™
Activation, diagnostics, monitoring, and controls.
DryGuard™
Readiness, pressure verification, and winterization support.
Forge™
Architectural integration and custom fabrication.
